We're an engineering shop that happens to sell products.

Skhni is based in Munich, Germany. The business started in IT consulting — network engineering and infrastructure work for organisations where things breaking is not an option. That background shapes how we pick what we sell.

How we choose products

We look for one thing: does it solve a specific problem better than the thing most people currently use?

A cushion with a cutout under the tailbone is a different object from a cushion without one. A harness with a front leash ring changes the physics of walking a dog. Those differences are why a product is here. Products that only look good in photographs are not.

What we tell you

You'll notice our product pages say what things don't do. No massage tool removes cellulite. A phone pouch is not a diving case. A seat cushion is not a medical device.

This isn't modesty. Overselling produces returns, refunds and people who never come back. Accurate descriptions produce customers who got what they expected.

How shipping works

We ship worldwide from partner warehouses close to major markets. This keeps prices at a level a small operation can offer and a customer wants to pay. It also means delivery takes longer than a same-day marketplace — we say so plainly on every product page rather than burying it at checkout.

The IT side

Skhni IT Consulting still operates. Remote support, data recovery, network and server maintenance, surveillance systems and hardware procurement — primarily for clients in and around Munich. Over 13 years of experience, including work in automotive, public sector and large-venue environments.
